 American actress Sharon Stone, a producer and former model, has an estimated net worth of $60 million. Sharon Stone seemed to appear from nowhere in the year 1992, when her no-holds-barred appearance of "Basic Instinct" catapulted her into the limelight. The modeling career she had was already well-established and she'd already earned a name by playing roles in television and films such as "Magnum, P.I." T.J. Hooker", War and Remembrance", as well as Total Recall. It is "Basic Instinct" that put her in the limelight internationally, and made she one of the most popular actors of the 1990s. After appearing in many roles on television and film, she was nominated for an Oscar for her role in "Casino" and was awarded an Emmy Award in 2003 for "The Practice" in which she was the guest actor. It is interesting to note that she was repeatedly nominated in the Golden Globes and won three Razzie Awards for Best Actress. Following surgery for subarachnoid hemorrhage (a kind of stroke that can cause bleeding in the brain) Her career slightly slowed.
