Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musically inclined family. The majority of her childhood was spent listening to classical music, old boleros, and the traditional romantic and ranchero ballads. Ana has a passion for the opera and tango genres as well as any form of dramatic performance. When she was 16 years old, she began to sing and study music with her mother. Flavio, a Mexican tenor of great renown began giving her a more intensive singing instruction. Music lessons continued throughout the School of Music of Guadalajara University. Later, she attended The School of Sacred Music of Toluca. As a student and young professional, she performed with many chamber groups and opera choruses in Guadalajara and Mexico City. When she moved from Mexico to the United States in 2000, she sang in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She has performed solo Latin American music for private events and also as part of Ensemble XXI in Redlands. As a teacher and musician, she is committed to numerous community projects because of her passion and passion for music. Ana is also a former member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana is privileged to be able be able to share her love for traditional Latin American music. She hopes that this will encourage younger generations to continue the tradition.
